Charles Jones

Hello,
I am trying to find more information about my great-great-uncle Charles JONES. He was born to William and Sarah (nee MARSHALL) in Kingston Upon Hull, Yorkshire, England on 21 Nov 1841. I believe he was staying with his grandparents, John and Margaret JONES in Llanbeblig, Wales during the 1851 census. I found him staying with his uncle and aunt, Anthony and Francis MARSHALL, during 1861 in North Newbald where he married Elizabeth SNOW 4 Jan 1865. He became a policeman in Broughton on Salford, Lancashire, England.

Elizabeth died young, in 1873, after giving birth to their two children, John William, 1865 and Sarah Elizabeth, 1870. Charles married again on 3 Jul 1881 to Mary Hannah NOONAN in Salford. They had at least three children: Mary Elizabeth 1884, Charles Edward 1896, Florence Marshall 1900. Their son Charles moved to Chicago in 1915 and they followed in 1919 with their daughter Florence.

There has been a story handed down in the family that Charles Sr. lived to be somewhere between 103 and 108 at which point he was run down by a bicycle and died. I have been able to trace them as late as the 1930 census in Chicago, but have been unable to find record of the family after that, or any newspaper article confirming the story.
