chickasaw heritage

my brother wrote a book on our grandmothers heritage, and i'm trying to see how much of it is factual. my grand, my greatgrand fathers name was prince perkins and my great grandmothers name was alice, They supposedly lived in clinton louisiana and died in their forties. I would like to know a little more in detail about them and where I can find some records.
