My grandmother was an Inishkeel Kennedy - they are concentrated in an area between Ardara and Inver.
It is not surname native to Donegal.
Two brothers are recorded in the 1660's paying the Money Hearth Roll tax.
They are believed to be from Tipperary.
So far, I know that our Kennedy family lived in Tipperary Ireland and came to the US in the 1800s. They began in Chicago and then moved to Nebraska by wagon.
