Some pictures and grave site pics included.

Veatch (possible father of Frances Susan Veatch, the wife of Balis Rutherford), Uriah P. and Jane M. (Bledsoe) Robinson, Squire and Susan (Speaks) Searcy. My walls are for Willam Veatch (ca. 1794) and James Robinson (1761 - 1833).

Comment by Dolores D'Errico on August 6, 2009 at 7:31pm: Patsy, Yes, this is the census I was talking about. This is her and her widowed
mother. If you look closer, you will see that there is a column with a tickmark
for "widowed"......a "D" would have been for divorced (I think). So, according to
that column, she would either be widowed or divorced. Funny, too, that they
are living right on Porter land. I checked the Land records but can find no
connection between Mary and George H. Porter who owned the land. He
would be the right age to be the father, though, or maybe an uncle.
