I'm looking for information about my late grandfather, Col. Fred W. Koester, and his parents.
F.W., being a military man, lived in many places, including Ft. Riley, KS, El Paso, TX, Burlingame, CA, Fullerton, CA, and the Philippines.
I believe his parents lived in Nebraska, but may have them confused with others with the same name. Alas, F.W. wasn't much interested in human famiilies, only equine ones...a great horse expert, but not a warm raconteur.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
