Hi there, I just found this site last night. Very cool. My immigrant ancestor was John Liming b1647 England and died 1697 in Monmouth, New Jersey. I am the admin of the Lemon DNA project at Family Tree DNA. Yes there are 3 projects for the lemon variant spellings at FTDNA.

To Ken Holloway: I am also the admin for the Holloway DNA project. My 3rd greatgrandmother was Delilah Holloway Lemons, daughter of Bremillion Holloway and Sarah Proctor. I don't see you on the project list... Have you considered taking a YDNA test to see what matches you might get. It's a really fast way to connect with family members and have proof that they are.

My maternal grandmother was a Lehman from Columbiana County, Ohio.  I have traced her lineage back to Hans Lehman from Switzrland.  My great great grandfather John Lehman was born in Franklin County, PA but moved to Columbiana County, Ohio.  He died (1852) at age 29 just 13 days after his son John, my great grandfather, was born.  I have not been able to find out his cause of death, but I have located his grave.

I have traced the Lahmon - Lehmann clan back to 1515 Switzerland but can go no farther.
