Greetings: Lanes from Birmingham England

I just joined, having found this site via a possible DNA match with one of the members of this group on the FTDNA YDNA project..  I have traced my ancestry, but only through computer related searches, to a number of Richard Lanes great grandfathers and ultimately to a Benjamin Lane in the area of Birmingham, England.  My tree is on ancestry.com and is entitled Ancestors of Selwyn H. Lane
