My MT dna haplogroup is "T2".

My gg grandmother Margaretha was born February 8, 1849 and died October 4, 1926.

There are some Lederer's of Geradstetten, Wurtemberg, Germany.

Johannes Lederer- a mayor, b 1728 d 1742

Johann Simon Lederer - a mayor b 1700 d 1775

Johan Frederich Lederer - a mayor b 1738 d 1815

Karl Gottlieb Lederer - a vine grower b 1782 d 1869

Joseph Leder - Private Civil War Vet Company G/44th Infantry from Whitewater, WI 1/7/1865 -died of disease in Paducah, KY  Aug 1/1865.

The only Lederer that I am certain of is my gg grandmother Margaretha Lederer of Mequon, Wisconsin.

The others are ones that I found doing searches.

My great, great grandmother is Margaretha Lederer-Otto. Otto is her husbands name. I am still not certain who her father is. I think he might have been Michael Lederer. She lived in Mequon, Wisconsin and is buried at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery on Mequon & Port Washington Roads.

I have some early Lederer in my tree. However, when my grandmother married into the family, it had been changed to Leathers.
There is a link to TribalPages on my homepage with a tree and 32 Leathers and some Lederer information from my family.
I noticed most members searching for Lederer aren't active.
Hope I can be of help, and can get some help from this website.
John
