David Lee Judith Dwire married Roan County TN 1820's

Looking for information on the Lees coming to western KY from TN. Have son of David (Mack) botn Chattanooga, TN but can't go any further. They settled in Calloway/Marshall county KY but so far this is the end of the line and my brick wall. Mosf on ancestry.com have David as the son of Zachariah in VA, but I can find no documents to confirm this connection. Any help would be appreciated.
