Gedcom import problems!! What am I doing wrong??!

I have the latest build of Legacy 7 and have the FHC PAF (as backup/just in case)  So I wanted to import from my PAF to Legacy.  I have tried everything I can think of but when it is loaded into Legacy,  My sources and citations are all there,  but all 1400 in my tree have birth and death info all mixed up and it shows that most were born  at my citation??!!  Does this make sense??  Probably not but I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out why it is importing the info, but not putting it in the right place!  I think I have used every combination possible to get this corrected, but I'm by far NOT an expert at Legacy even tho I have used it over 2 years.  I have read the manual, and help, and anything else but with no luck!

Any help would be an Xmas Blessing right about now!!
