Has anyone else noticed a problem with the spell check function?

I haven't used spell check in a while, but I just added a new birth note for someone.  I thought it was a little odd when it hit on "York" in "New York," but since I couldn't remember if the spell check was supposed to recognize place names, I dismissed it.  Then it didn't recognize "officially" (I triple checked that I had spelled it correctly,) and the closest suggestion it gave was "office."  Then it stopped on "formed" and then "originally."

It also didn't recognized "settled," "county" (it suggested "country,") and "research." 

Has anyone else had a problem with spell check?  (I use Legacy 7, build 7.5.0.55.  I found spell check troubleshooting on the Legacy website, but that seems to be for Legacy 3, 4 and 5.)
