Hello,
My Legacy 7.5 which I downloaded to update my Legacy 7 a couple of days ago has thrown a wobbly and I don't know how to put it right.
It was all right at first but suddenly when I try to find one of my Master Sources or enter a record into a Master Source I can't do it because it says that there are no Master Sources. Checking under View/Master Lists confirms that.
Something has obviously deleted all my dozens of Master Sources somehow, although I can access records from those items  I have already entered.  How do I get my Master Lists back? And what happened to delete them all?

Tried Repair and no change.  Help, Please

Victoria,

I would suggest that you only post once to avoid confusion!

Let us start with viewing the Master Sources. I assume that you are seeing an empty box? On the right hand side is a box with a number of check boxes, make sure that they are all unchecked -do they show now?

It should not be possible to lose your master sources as they are part of the database, as such they are backed-up with your database when you save back-ups on exiting Legacy. I trust that you do have your back-ups?

Ron,

Thank you for that. I don't want to cause confusion. After major panicking I think I might have solved what was the problem.

Somehow, I had managed unknowingly  to untick the Show only "unverified" box and tick "verified"  A simple thing but one that has caused me a great deal of worry over the past hour or so.

On the Master Source List View do you perchance have any of the boxes ticked in the right-hand column with the heading "show only"? If you have checked tagged or any other category where you have none you will see none.
