Output tab missing detailed information

when you click on the output tab look very close at the 2 little buttoms one says show entire source the other says show source using print options. Which one is checked if you want to see the entire source details check the one on the left show entire source. If you have the print options set to not show source this could be why its blank. This is the only thing that I can think of that would cause this situration. Maybe someone else has a better solution but I would try this and see if this corrects you problem.

Rick, thanks so much for your help but I have tried these buttons and they do not show any more information. The only thing that is displayed is the Bibliography which says State Census. I am not sure what I am doing wrong! I have checked the print options but there is nothing there that should cause this. Any other ideas anyone?

You do not say which version of Legacy you are using nor whether you are using Source Writer or Basic Sourcing. This all makes a difference. It is possible that if your sources are Basic Sources and you have Source Writer set then you will see differences.

Try playing around with the Options>Customise>Sources (on the main screen) trying the various options on that screen.

Thank you for taking the time to ask. I am using Source Writer but just recently started. I have, however, solve my own problem just by accident. When entering a source, and this is true of Source Writer or Basic, there is a box to check to "Include this Citation on Reports". On the sources that I could not read the detailed information when viewing the output tab after creating and saving the source I found that I had unchecked that box! When I edited the detail and rechecked the box the information was there.
