Does anyone know how to reattach family photos to the Legacy Family Tree?  I keep all family photos for my tree in one folder.  I opened my family tree recently and noticed the photos are not showing up in my tree.  I haven't worked on my tree for awhile and was wondering if a Legacy update might have had something to do with the pictures disappearing. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Lynn, I cannot imagine why they should have disappeared, unless you moved them. However, in you case it is easy to correct. Go to one picture using (say) the picture icon in Family View - they "light up" if they should have a picture, you will see a pop up offering to find the picture for you, or select yourself - pick the latter and a folder tree will be opened, go to where the picture is, and click on it's file name. All your pictures should automatically then be found by Legacy.
Hi Ron:
Early on when I started using Legacy I created a folder just for photos attached to my tree because the situation you mentioned about the icon "lighting up" occurred when I moved a photo or changed the name of the photo. That is not the case now. I just went into my husband's info (I know I had his photo attached) and nothing is lighting up. I had over 700 photos attached to my tree. The thought of having to "reattach" them again is overwhelming. The only thing I remember occurring when I did the last update (probably in the last couple of months) was that I got a message stating if I clicked continue (something to that effect) the file would be permanently changed. I never dreamed anything would happen with the photos as there was never a problem in the past. If you have any other suggestions I would appreciate them.
Thank you.
If you go to Tools>Picture Centre you will find details of all the pictures which have been attached, usually the pop-up will be there on opening, but if not, click on any picture, and search as I suggested in my last post
