In our family we have some rather interesting issues that are directly related to the blood line of the family in some ways and in others not. One of them is where a Aunt married a man and later her father married the man's mother. Both couples when on to have children even though the now Aunt and Uncle are in fact now at that point step brother and step sister after the fact. How is Legacy going to record that?

Another issue is a bit more touchy yet. We have a well known occurrence of a family member who fathers two children by his own daughter. one of those children went on to have children. How will this record in the program and should I even record this at all?

Sounds like we're related!

I have the same things happening in my family.  Talk about a soap opera.  No matter.  I recorded the information just as it happened and Legacy v. 7 handled it just fine.

Imagine Egyptian genealogy where brothers married sisters (the pharoahs).  I tested this on Legacy too, and there were no glitches.

This is good to know. I will go on and add this in then. Too far along to have some report come back looking crazy because this is not something the program gets...lol

I have a similar situation in my family, a cousin fathering children with his daughter. I believe it should be recorded, it is a historical ancestry fact.

Along those lines... here are some other "cases" some of us discussed earlier in case you're interested.
