My Lloyds (husband's) are from the Darlington area of South Carolina. I suspect they came from the Wake/Granville area of NC, but don't know farther back. The patriarch was Ebenezer Loyd (1747-1847). Yes, he died at age 100. There are not a lot of records regarding Ebenezer--children, etc. Ancestry Trees have as many as three sons, that's all. And of those, only one is listed as having a son. My husband's line goes back to J. Elihu Lloyd (b1833), m. Lena Laney Register (b1831). I don't know where Elihu plugs into the L(l)oyd dynasty.
Hey Everyone,
I would like to introduce ya'll to a new database for obituaries at http://www.ourfamtree.org/obituaries/. This database is affiliated with Trails to the Past with whom I host several counties.
Please check out the site at your convenience and if interested, please post any obituaries that you have.
Charlie
