Is there anyone out there with access to Ontario Canada records?  I'm trying to locate ROWLAND HILL and family on the 1911 census.    He died in St. Catharines in 1951 - but I can't find him on the census in St Catharines

I'm also trying to locate death information on Sarah (Scholfield) SHAW who died in 1935 in Toronto - possibly York Twp, as I have information leading me to believe that her husband Ralph Thomas SHAW died in York on 16 Dec 1931 (no cemetery located yet).

Thanks a million for all your help.

Cheryl,
I have access to Ontario, Canada records. Several of my ancestors settled in Grenville-Leeds, Ontario, Canada. I am somewhat familiar with researching the records in Canada. Perhaps, I will be able to help you.

It would be helpful if you could provide more info re Rowland Hill. When & where was he born. Do you have the names of other family members. Were his parents born in Canada, US., England or elsewhere?

Judy
Bless you. Rowland was born 6 Mar 1869 in Linton, Cambridge, England. He was the son of George Hill and Sarah Cottage. He immigrated to Canada sometime between 1906 when he married Lucy Rose at the parish church, and 1909 when their son Stanley was born in St. Catharines.

He died 16 April 1951 and is buried in New Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines.
I believe I found the family living in Grantham, Lincoln, Ontario, Canada. Please let me know if this is the correct family. If it is , I will post the census info. (There is a problem with 2nd page of the 1911 Canadian Census Form, I reported problem to Ancestry.com)

Reland Hill b. Mar 1869 Eng
Luly Hill b. Apr 1862 Eng
Harley Hill Jun 1908 Ontario
Elda Hill Dec 1906 Eng
Florence Hill Oct 1910 Ontario

Rowland, Lucy & Hilda immigrated in 1907
Was Stanley's middle name Harry or Harold?

A researcher corrected the given names, Rowland, Lucy, Harry and Hilda.
I can try to contact the researcher for you if you wish.

Judy
Yes - Stanley's middle name was Harry.

This does appear to be the family. Thanks so much - Please send me the information.
