Impossible to find gg uncle Oskar Albin Gustafsson

This is a photo (apparently) taken in Chicago, Illinois.
I have no further information of Oscar's whereabouts after this photo was taken. He immigrated to the USA on April 13, 1891 from Hångsdala, Skaraborg, Sweden. Have found no further information about his whereabouts than this photo.

Would like to know if someone can possibly date this photo? Probably late 1890 - early1900's?
AND if anyone would know during what period the Lindner Studio was operational?
AND if someone recognizes the man in the photo - that would be amazing!

This shows Charles W. Lindner at 9222 Commercial St. from 1890-1895

Thank you so much. That would mean this photo would have been taken prior to 1895. Between 1891-1895. Unfortunately that doesn't give me much leads as to where to continue my search. The possibility is that he died before the 1900 census... OR left Chicago. The search goes on! //Monica

NOTE: my friend is also researching this surname and others connected to it, also from Sweden, the names and neighbors all look familiar, perhaps it is the same families? I don't know that they are, the names all appear to be the same from Sweden, but she got some genealogy information from someone.

I am having a really hard time with this man! I've checked on Ancestry - and found a whole lot of "oscar G-son's" - and have been able to rule some of them out. The hard thing is to really know "for sure" that this particular Oscar is "mine". Not even sure that he kept the Gustafson - or changed it as many of the emigrants did. I've found one Oscar who married Annie Lewis in 1891, who was 26 at the time. Which fits, him being born in 1865. But never found this couple anywhere. This Annie was alot older, 39 at the time. I would love if this Oscar in Cook married to Hilda - was "mine" ;-). Can I help your friend with something from "this side of the pond" I'd be glad to try!
