Sarah Jane McLaughlin, b about 1852 Pollockshaw, Renfrewshire, Scotland. Moved to Glasgow, m Joseph Rae.
Her siblings were John, Patrick, Catherine, Bridget, Ellen and Neil, born either Renfrewshire or Glasgow.
Father Patrick McL b about 1824 Ireland, d 1871, Govan, Glasgow. He married Bridget Docherty and he was a carter.
Any ideas anyone? And all hail, other McLachlans
