Hello Everyone!

I'm looking for James Martin born in Kentucky 1856.  He married Ida M. Watson in Louisville, Kentucky 1885.  They lived in Galena, Kansas and adoted my grandmother, Virginia, abt. 1900.  James stole the identity of Dr. Fred Lanoix in 1902 and practiced under said name.   James performed at least 2 surgeries and the ladies died.  He was arrested and died at the Wyandotte County jail in 1914.

I am looking for information on my paternal grandfather's family.  My grandfather, Robert Rufus Martin, was born in Clarke County, MS on March 25, 1887.  He had a sister, Mae, and a brother, Will.  I have no information on his parents and am looking to research the family line.  At some point the family moved to Meridian, MS (Lauderdale County, MS).  Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking for info on the Martin families in Davidson and Wilson Counties TN from 1800 to after the War. Is Thomas C. Martin the son of Brice Martin and his he the father of Mary B. Martin who married Henry A. Ausburn/OsBorn?

I need to contact a researcher in Davidson County to lookl for deeds for me. Can anyone recommend anyone?

James Madison Martin was my great grandfather, born in Lawrenceburg, Tenn in 1832.  Moved to Dent Co. MO around 1860 with his wife Elizabeth Ivey.  He had 16 children, 8 with Elizabeth and after she died he married her sister Mary Agnus Ivey and had 8 children.  The last child was my grandfather, Charles Mogust Martin.  Would appreciate any info about the Martin family in Tennessee.

My earliest known ancestor is Charles William MARTIN born about 1784 in Magdeburg, Prussia now Germany. Charles, believed to be of black African descent, came to England via France in 1800 and joined the British navy. He served on HMS ACHILLE at the Battle of Trafalgar on 21 October 1805. He married Priscilla SHERKEY in 1813. On discharge from the navy in 1815, he settled in Priscilla's birthplace of Frome, Somersetshire, England. Charles died in 1824. Looking to trace my earlier ancestry by Y-DNA testing with FTDNA and conventional genealogical research.

Looking for information about the Martin family from Fauquier Co. Virginia. My grandmother was Anna Martin Keady (1897-1980), her father was Wade Hampton Martin (1867-1937), his father was James F. Martin (1820-1883). Not much is known about James except he was a laborer and shoemaker in Warrenton VA, was married to Emily Brown and had many many children. I've been unable to locate where he is buried, where he was married or much information about his early life or his own parents.

Looking for information on Mary "Polly" Martin born in TN 1809.  Part or full Cherokee.  Married Hayden Gregory Wayne County Kentucky. Some of their children moved to Crawford County, Arkansas.  I have that information, but no one seems to know about Mary's family.
