I have only been a member of this site for 2 hours and have already found the death registration for Arthur E. Linney - this i found to be amazing. I am so pleased to have joined.

I am researching the Harrison branch of my family who emmigrated in 1894 from England.
James Harrison brn 1847
Anne Harrison brn 1874
Mary Harrison brn 1881
Ann married a David S. John - children Lilian, Gladys and Margaret all born Scranton, Pennsylvannia .
Mary maried Arthur E. Linney and was widowed between 1920-1930.
In both the 1920 and 1930 federal cencus they are all living together in Election District 13, Baltimore, Maryland.
In the 1910 federal cencus James Harrison is living at 211 Hollister Avenue, Scranton Ward 1, Lackawanna, Pennsylvannia.

After 1930 I have been unable to find any trace, any information would be gratefully received.

I am researching two different branches of my family:

- In Princess Anne, Somerset, Maryland, I am looking for the Pusey and Cantwell families.

- In Calvert (also Brick Meeting, Zion, East Nottingham), Cecil, Maryland, I am researching the England, Hilaman, Kirk, Haines, Little, and Brown families.

I am connected to the Smith Family of Baltimore who were in the shipping business. They married into the George Nichoals family. I would enjoy talking to anyone who might be from this family group.

My Dehorty folks appear to have lived on the MD/DE border, sometimes in Kent Co., DE and sometimes in Dorchester and Caroline Co. in MD. My current interest is in finding how all the Dehorty/Dagity/Doherty folks fit together in the 1700's in MD and which Melvil Herodias Dehorty (b. ca 1700) married.

Thanks for checking Timothy. Yes, I have seen most of Donnelly's research on Jarboes - my Francis is often overlooked and some have listed him as female. Francis Jarboe is the son of Bennet Jarboe and Monica Wathen, b. bef 5 June 1768. Died without a will in Frederick Co. MD, bef 3 May 1825 Sarah, his 2nd wife was appointed Administratrix by the court. He is my 4G Grandfather. Of all my Jarboe direct line, I have the least info on him. Thanks again, Karen

Hi - My surnames in Maryland are: Jarboe, Joy, Golson, Spink, Wathen, McVicker. Especially looking for info on Francis Jarboe (Frederick Co.) and ? 1st wife and Sarah McVicker - late 1700's and early 1800's. Would love any help and am willing to share.

A maternal 3rd great-grandma -- Elizabeth A. Lemaire Beale nee WARING -- was born in Maryland (presumably Prince George's County) ca. 1824, and was last seen on the 1870 Census in Liberty County, Texas. Her parents were Edward Gantt Waring (he supposedly died in Texas before 1850) and Catherine Ann Waring (same last name -- they were 2nd cousins). Catherine aka Kitty supposedly returned to Maryland where she is said to have died in 1867.

My brick wall is my G-G-G-G grandfather James Aring/Arring/Ering b. 1799. Married to Catherine Frock (b. Frederick County about 1805) I can't determine if he originated in Maryland. Can't find anything on his parents or sibblings. Have also checked nearby Adams County, PA. Only thing I can find is 1790 census for York County, PA...a John Ering. Any suggestions?
