trying to find out more about ggrandmother "Kate"'s parents and siblings. I found them in Boston from 1860-1880 but so far only have those censuses and daughter Catherine/Katherine "Kate" 's marriage to Edward Wyman LORD in 1902 in Boston (I have info on them after that) and her birth information..
Here's what I have thus far and questions I'm looking for answers to also. Does anyone have any good Boston/ Suffolk county research links?

================================================================

1870 census, Boston ward 7:

Fleming, William, 37, machine blacksmith, born IRE.

  "       , Mary, 37, grocery?? (not sure), 200, born IRE.

    "     , James, 14, at school, born NH

    "     , Michael, 12, at school, born MA

    "     , John, 10, at school, born MA

    "     , Joanna, 8, at school, born MA

    "     , Mary A., 6, at home, born MA

    "     , William, 4, at home, born MA

    " ?   , Hannah, 20, at home, born IRE

(not sure yet IF Hannah is a daughter, or housekeeper or something)

=================================

1860 census, Boston ward 12:

Fleming, Wm, 25, laborer, 50, born IRE

    "      , Mary, 23, born IRE

    "      , James, 4, born NH

    "      , Michael, 2, born MA

    "      , John, 9/12, born MA

------------------------------------------------

so between 1870 and 1880 censuses Michael is no longer listed with family. In 1880 there is the addition of Nicholas and Kate. And there's the question of Hannah still to solve. I would think IF Hannah had indeed been born before William & Mary immigrated that since she is 20 in 1870 and James is 14 born in NH that there may have been a child or two in between them born in IRE & NH....????

Any help or thoughts much appreciated!
