Welcome!

Message from the Group Admin - In order to help us be able to organize and locate information, I think it would be helpful to try to limit the Comment Wall to introduce ourselves and our interests. When you have specific questions or research issues, please feel free to start a new Discussion thread if one does not already exist. Thanks, and happy hunting!

I Just joined this group this morning. I am born and raised in Massachusettes. I began researching my family history almost 2 years ago and have found ancestors that go back to the Mayflower. The most recent names that I have been looking into are Edson, Dunbar, and Cook.

Timothy,
For a will in Amesbury you need to contact Essex County Probate

A Very Grave Matter run by Jenn Marcelais, contains many, many pictures from cemeteries in MA, ME & NH. Each cemetery contains an thumbnails of the headstones in that cemetery, usually alphbetical. Jenn also takes requests for cemeteries to photograph and she has a mailing list for those who would like to be kept up on additions. To sign up for her e-news or to request a cemetery, visit A Very Grave Matter.
