Hi Stephen,

Thanks for the comment. I hope more Masterman's find this site and possibly connect with cousins to share info of their lineage. Earlier this year I found out that I had been researching the wrong person as my grandfather. Since I never knew his middle name I assumed Harold Walter Masterman, 1880 to be my grandfather. Knowing that he was born in Bournemouth I never considered their to be another Harold. Thanks to a member of Ancestry.com.,alerting me of this was bit of a shock. It turns out that there was another Harold (my real grandfather) who's full name is Harold Thomas Masterman, 1890. The other thing is that they had both lived on Spring Road. So I found myself starting over. The lesson is never assume.
