Comment by Barbara Gallagher on May 14, 2012 at 2:31pm: I descend from the Daniel McGonigle family that immigrated into Philadelphia about 1849. He was a coal miner in St. Clair, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. He was married twice -- to a Mary ? and second to the widow of a friend, Rose Harkin. His son George moved to Germantown, a part of Philadelphia where he was a tinsmith. His son George was my grandfather. I am anxious to find anyone else researching this family.
