James McManigle is one of my 'Brick Walls'. You can see below the many different spellings of the Surname. Copies of the original Census records were found at

I have heard that there are tax records in both Westmoreland and Jefferson Counties, but I have not seen a copy of them, yet. Also on Ancestry Family Trees, a couple of the trees have stated that he was born in County Down, Ireland. I can't find out where this information came from.
I would love to find out where he was from in Ireland, who were his parents, siblings other family members, when did he come over from Ireland. So many question, but isn't that what we love about family history ~laughs~ I would also like to find out if all the McManigles are related.
