My family is the descendants of Hugh and Nancy (McMath) McMullen, Dearborn County, Indiana. They moved there from Pennsylvania in 1817.

One of my 3rd Great Grandmothers was Martha McMullen from Argyleshire, Scotland. She was born in 1819 and immigrated to Buffalo, New York, where she married Archibald Brown, also from Scotland. She died in 1913 in Buffalo, NY. I have a copied newspaper article about her. She was known as "Granny Brown." I have no info on her parents. The article did mention she came to Buffalo because of Clan reasons.

My great-grandfather George McMullen was born 6-12-1880 in Michigan, Married Hannah Byrd Anderson; died 4-23-1935 in Montana.
