Sargent, Tansey lines

I'm interested in connecting with anyone who is related to the Sargent and Tansey family names. My line settled in Grand Rapids, MI, but can be traced back through IL, IA, IN, MA and the whole trail from MA during the Revolutionary War to the Midwest.

The Tanseys have escaped me. I believe my great grandmother was born in Ireland, so most of her family will originate there. But have no idea when they came to the US, what port they arrived at, and how they ended up in MI. They may have had family precede them there, but I don't know if the surname is Tansey or another.
