There is now a free online index to Minnesota marriage records: the Minnesota Official Marriage System. Online order forms are available, and some records can even be ordered online. The site can be found at http://www.mncounty.com/Modules/Certificates/Marriage/Default.aspx.

Thank you Thank you Thank you to Beth Gatlin! Thanks to your post about the on-line Minnesota Official Marriage System. I checked it out and found the records for a marriage of my birth mother that I was looking for. It made my day.
