Barton from Philippines Originally from Germany?

hallo im kristoff from Philippines..my mothers side have barton family name..they enhirit it from from his mother´`s father family name..BARTON..
but we dont have really evidince i we are really barton and they are alot of people who question it...according to my grandma..his father is german whos family name is barton..but his father died so early when she is still young..thats why she dont know alot o her ather family background..the one thing she know that her ather is rom germany..her mother also dont talk to much about it..since during by that time most of the people in the philipipnes are not well educated and they think family tree is not important...my grandmother´s father came to the philippines for gold mining..and luckily married with native girl..but according to her mom..we are just second family and my grandfather have original family in germany..
