Has anyone used Genealogy Bank. I am looking for Joshua Stackhouse who died in 1912 in Wetzel County, WV married to Mary Jane McFarland. Tried to find in WV cultural. There was no record. Was going to try Genealogy Bank if anyone had any success with it. Thanks Dianne

I plugged your information into my Ancestry.com and came up with a 1890 and a 1900 census. I also found 15 other families researching him if your interested send me your e-mail.

bodwelch3@wmconnect.com the reason he is my stone wall is there are two Joshua Stackhouse's in born in Ohio close to the same time, but one is from Clinton County, Ohio and is buried there and was married to Ellen Jane Spencer mine died in Wetzel Co., WV. and was married to Mary Jane McFarland. Thanks for the info. Maybe I can find something there. Couldn't find any parents for my joshua, but could for the other one.lol Dianne

I subscribe to genealogybank.com. Sometimes, it's very useful. Other times, you draw a complete blank. There are several ways you can filter your search criteria. The site has obituaries from 1977 forward as separate entries. Prior to 1977, the obituaries are compiled in with the news articles.
The subscription is inexpensive, and I've found enough valuable information through it to justify the expense. -
