John Taylor Whittiker

Looking for parents of John Taylor (JT) Whittiker states he from Texas had a sister named Margaret Ann.  Margaret Ann married a William Price in Fannin county in 1864 then married William Cox in 1868 and moved to Uvaldle county.  DNA shows a perfect match to William Whittiker (Whittaker) in Upshur county but can find no record of JT among children of William.  Story goes his father died and he lived with stepfather till mother died? JT was born in 1848 and the first time he shows up is when he married Martha Robinson in Franklin County Ark in 1872.
