I am seeking my late mother's cousin Olga. The two cousins corresponded with each other up to the outbreak of WW2 but then lost touch. Despite her efforts my mother Clarice Barnes was unable to trace Olga.
My mother was the daughter of Morten Jensen Mortensen b1881 in Aalborg, his parents being Oluf Peter Mortensen and Inger Marie Petersen. As far as I am aware Morten had just one brother = Pieter.
Olga was maybe the daughter of Pieter Mortensen born in Aalborg, Denmark c1880. I do not know when Olga was born - maybe 1905-1910. She trained as a nurse and worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in Aarhus, Denmark.
Any help would be appreciated.

We have the baptismal certificate of my grandfather Morten. My brother recently spent a couple of days in Aalborg and visited the Vor Frue Kirke where the baptism took place. He was directed to the archives office where he was given some very basic help. A lady there looked in the parish register for him and found the family's address. We have not looked at the parish register ourselves as yet.
We know nothing about cousin Olga other than that our mother corresponded with her and that she was a nurse in Aarhus. She was not married at the time our mother lost touch.
Thank you for your assistance and the link to the Danish Archives site.
