Eugenio Rossi Lanzoni from Filonica, Italy migrated to Argentina became a citizen then migrated to USA because the quota for immigrants from Italy to USA was always full.
How do I find ships that went to South America and how do I find immigrants from Argentina to USA.

Wow, this is some great info that I will have to research further. I'll let you know how I make out.
Sure look like the right direction anyway.
Yes, this is the correct Eugene Lanzoni born 09 Mar 1851, Married Maria Rosa Gabrieli in 1877 in Felonica, Italy.
Thankyou for your response. Do you have any ideas on how to locate the ship from Italy to South America?
Thanks,
Carol
Eugenio Rossi Lanzoni had sons: Vincent 25 Feb 1881, Amedeo "Alex" 01 Sep 1883, Joseph 12 Feb 1887, Paul 30 Mar 1890 all born in Filonica, Italy.
Eugenio had a brother who stayed in Argentina - I wish I could find the name and the decendants.
I do not have naturalization records for any of the Lanzonis yet.
I do not know when any Lanzoni migrated from Argentina to USA. From Eugene's obit:
"As circumstances permitted he sent for his family, his wife and the two youngest children arriving here in 1912. The family lived for a time in Crenshaw, PA." Most of his life here he lived in Brockwayville later known as Brockway, PA and worked as a miner.
