Terry Family in Austin Texas
Hello,
my challenge is this... my father passed away in november and had no contact with his family. HE was born in California. His mother and father moved to Texas where he livedAustin Texas until he was 15 or 16 and then ran away to California. His name is Charles Lee Terry. His father was Robert Lee Terry and his mother was Mary Louise Terry (Sinclair) His mother passed away when he was very young. Maybe a year or 2 old. Charles' Date of Birth is 08/28/1951. He was married to my mother for a very short time her name is Roberta Louise Rucker. Then he was living with (for 10 or so years 1976 - 1986) Barbara Gordon. I believe he had 2 brothers (I do not remember their names. Maybe one was David) He had an Aunt Matt and Uncle Jo Terry (Matt was married to Terry) and his grandmother was called mama Terry by everyone. I went with my family to visit them around christmas of 1980. When his stepmother passed away in 1996 or so a lawyer contacted him to let her know. if anyone can be of help that would be wonderful. Please let me know if you have any questions I might possibly be able to answer.

yes! I just remembered something he told me. His mother died when he wa very young and his father remarried Her name was Mary Jo Houk :) and I believ she adopted him :)

I did call Calvin and that is his brother! I had a very nice conversation and he is going to give my informaiton to other family members... thank you everyone for all your help!
