My GGrandfather Tyler Martin's Mother was a slave. She was born abt 1830 either in Morgan or Walton Counties GA I was told by a relative of a "George Martin" that he could have been the slave master of Harriet(t). For "George Martin" had a plantation in Morgan Co. GA Would like to know how to find out if that may be possible.
Secondly, of all, my late Father Paul Robinson (Robison) had some of his relatives buried in the Oconee Co Cemetery. In this cemetery it was known that the Huffs (white) were suppose to be the cousins to my paternal Father (my Grandfather) George Robinson & to my paternal Grandfather (my GGrandfaher Swep Robison (Robinson). I would like to find out if the Huffs are indeed related to my Father's family. your help in these matters will be appreciated!! Thank u

My GG Grandmother (Harriet/t) was born abt 1830 in Morgan Co. GA The George Martin I'm talking abt was born 1787 in South Carolina & died in Morgan Co. GA abt 1867. He was never married & had a plantation in Morgan Co. GA

Re the Huffs in Oconee Co. GA when I was younger my late Father Paul Robinson would always mentioned to me & to other people, including my Mother, that the Huffs were related to his Grandfather Swep Robison (Robinson) & to his Father George T. Robison (Robinson)
My Mother mentioned to me how GG Grandfather Swep Robison (Robinson) had two sons who were very, very fair complexioned & were not afraid to tell the "Whites" in Oconee Co. GA how they really felt about them. The Huffs found out that some of the 'whites" in Oconee Co. Ga were planning to hang two sons of GG Grandfather Swep Robison & for him to get them out of town immediately. And he did & sent them to Detroit, Michigan & these two sons never came back to GA MyGrandfather George Robinson also had a fiery temper & would tell the "whites" in Oconee Co. GA & would them how he exactly felt abt them & would even fight them. And the "blacks" in Oconee Co. GA felt that the only reason that he wasn't hung was because of his relationship with the Huffs.
Lastly, the Huffs had a cemetery plot, the Oconee Co. Cemetery where on one side of the cemetery they were buried, & further over my Father's relatives were buried.
