Jan I am no longer Mormon but have moved back to Utah due to my husbands' job. My father's first cousin is married to a polygamous. She is the first of I believe 5 wives. I own a needlework store and had a regular customer who was very professional etc and sent in her sister wife to pick up some thread.. we were blown away.. they come in all sorts.. you would never know to the long haired we see depicted on TV with the Raid in Texas.

I am descended from Joseph Aime Agustus Bunot and his wife Ann Hunt Price.
My great grandmother had a sister Jeannette Johnston that married Samuel Fletcher who had a few wives
They were all in Summit or Morgan county, Utah .
Hi, Cindy.
The Mormons are a cult. The criteria for cults fits the church like a glove. Outsiders do not have a clue how deep the indoctrination of small children runs. It must be difficult to live inside Utah for you. Do you have friends in your situation that are available to you? I am a doctor and have been in practice for 27 years, have two grown sons, own my home, have a collie and three Maine Coon Cats (long haired) and enjoy living in a community where there aren't many Mormons. They are dangerous folks---so are the Polygamist communities. I am so glad that you wrote to me. Please tell me more. Your friend in Maine, Jan
P.S. Be careful.
