Splash screen on PC start up

From time to time (every 10 days?) My Heritage opens automatically when I switch on my PC, not just with one splash screen, but two.

I find this very annoying as it usually occurs when I want to do something quickly, and I have to waste time closing unwanted screens.

I have searched for a solution to getting rid of this, but cannot find how to do it.

Any tips?
