Hi Pamela
Great to see you are doing the course! Hope you enjoy it. Long time since ProGen days
Hi, I, like many others here, am enrolled in the Social Media course and, also, Methodology 2. Last month, I did my first course with NIGS (Methodology 1) and loved it. My passion for genealogy goes far back, but in the last few years, I hadn’t time to work seriously on my family history. A few months ago, I started again. I still consider myself a beginner and my main goal, for now, is to learn as much as possible on genealogical methodology. I’m enrolled in the Canadian Records Certificate and I want, eventually, to become a professional genealogist (a retirement job as interesting as my present job, but less stressfull).
P.S. I’m a French Canadian. It’s my first attempt to participate in an english social network and my writing is as it is… not perfect!
Hi, I am Christine Burns from New Zealand and I am currently taking the Social Media course at the National Institute. This course has been a huge learning curve for me, almost overwhelming at times, but it has introduced me to many new things which I had heard about but didn’t know how to start using them. I am looking forward to becoming more involved in these areas. I have been researching my families for some years and am currently working on my husband’s Burns family from Derbyshire, England.
