Anyone here researching LEE's? Mine married John YORK in Rutherford County, NC in 1805 - her name was Rachel LEE -- I can trace them after the marriage, just not before...anyone else doing these 2 names? Acutally, the John YORK is related to Seymor YORK (I forget the dates, sorry.)

I am descended from the Bakers who lived in the Chowan and Gates Counties area of NC. My direct ancestor is Lawrence Baker who was the Gates County Clerk until his death in 1807.

Thats Him and Elizabeth I think- His father's name is also Hubbard- they are said to have married in Rhea County,TN I have looked for the marriage and found nothing- I am wondering if they got married in NC- one of the census shows Jesse born in 1828-29 in NC- I got confusing after awhile LOL
