Which Ancestors from Norwich are Yours?

I have been researching my family for about 20 years and am stuck in Connecticut.  My GGGrandfather James Smith indicated his parents came to Ontario from there.  We THINK it may be Samuel and Sara (Ward) Smith but we do not know where they were in Connecticut.  We do not know when they may have left Connecticut but James was born in Preston Ontario in 1801.  If anyone has these names in their info please share it with me so I can break through the wall.
