Ciccolella family

I am looking for information on my great uncle Andrea Ciccolella who left Pettorano sul Gizio, Italy and landed in Halifax, Canada on the ship America on May 1, 1924.  He was born in 1899.  His brother was John Ciccolella who moved to Steubenville, Ohio.  I need to know where the best places to look for information on him while he was in Canada.  Thanks for any ideas!!  Chuck
