My Oram family descendants originated in Essex. Waltham Abbey to be exact. A few years ago I had a lot more leisure time to pursue this, but given the hiatus, hopefully new information which is easier to access is available. My maiden name was ORAM. They were living in London in the 19th century but before that I believe they were in Shaftesbury, Dorset. It would be useful to exchange ideas and information with other ORAM researchers!
