Genealogy Wise

The Genealogy & Family History Social Network

An important study is underway. Its goals are to reunite the families that were torn apart in the years 1708-1710 and to learn more about the origins of these hardy folk. Everyone who descends from one or more Palatines is urged to join us and have a DNA test that will help them realize these goals.

Please visit our websites: www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/palatine and www.ftdna.com/public/PalatineDNAProject.

I have sent in my DNA for Ancestry.com DNA. Would I need to do another test for this project?

My ancestor is Christian Eigler and he came over in 1709 to the West Camp.

The FTDNA page for the Palatine DNA group mentions y-dna specifically - is it limited to y-dna descendants, or are the rest of us invited too?
