Jacob & Anne Peer from New Jersey to Canada 1796

My own PEER lines came from New Jersey to Ontario Canada in 1796. Jacob Pier, the immigrant ancestor to Ontario, has his name recorded as PEER, PEAR, PIER in the records. He was last found in Newton NJ in 1773, and was a known British sympathizer as reported by the Pettit family, also sympathizers. He never received Loyalist status however.

Jacob and Anne (aka Hannah) Peer had the following children born in New Jersey. Their descendants settled in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Ontario Canada.
