McFarland / Swager

I am researching Ransom Dunn McFarland born in PA in 1843 (possibly Mercer County).  His parents were Samuel McFarland and Leticia Beam (Bean, Beem).  Only info that I have is on Leticia being born in 1809 in Mercer Co.  I don't have the deaths for either Samuel or Leticia or the correct spelling of Leticia's last name.

Ransom was the youngest of seven children: William B., Hugh Douglas, Willian Irvin, Willson, Jane E., and Robert P.  In 1859 somewhere in PA, Ransom married Samanthat Swager who was born in April 1839 (New WIlmington Twp, Mercer County)  and had five children. 

I have gotten most of this info from the census.  Anybody have an idea of where I should go to get more specifics on these people.  I live in Miami, Florida so it would be a long distance request.  Thanks for any help. Ann Gribbins
