Seeking Information on Titus & Sloan Surnames - Pittsburgh

Looking for surname of Sloan in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. They were African Americans and members of the NAACP. I believe they came to Pittsburgh from SC or GA around the 1930's. One of the Sloans (b. abt. 1925, d. aft. 1950), was an activist with labor, and a member of SteelWorkers Labor Union 11.I am looking for a connection to Beverly Sloan, (b. 1943).

I am also looking for an information on surname of Titus, also African American and from Pittsburgh. I do not have the first name, but any information on the African American Titus family (1930-1980), would be appreciated. I am looking for a connection to Brook Titus (b. about 1980).
