Was wondering if anyone could help me with my brick wall? My great grandfather, David Thomas Lloyd was born 23 May 1862 in PA. That is all I can find out. His mother and father were born in Wales and so far have not found when they came to the US. David had one brother born in MD, there were five children born in PA and three in OH. His father was Thomas B. Lloyd, born about 1826. I understand he was a coal miner. If anyone could help me I would be so grateful. This was a brick wall that also bothered my sister. She died in 2006 and I have since taken over trying to complete this family tree on my mother's side. She will never know as she has Alzheimers but I want to finish this for my brother and two remaining sisters.
I am also new to this site, my research in Pennsylvania is with Arthur Benjamin WIGLEY(30 Dec 1848 Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, England- 16 March 1910 Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, United States of America) and Blanche Annie EVANS(30 July 1858 Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales-24 June 1886 Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, United States of America) and their families. I know Arthur married 3 times and had many children. I trying to to locate the children from his 3 marriages, to Anna Maria LYNCH, Blanche Annie EVANS and Marion Louise GREEN.
Children:
Alice Blanche Wigley, Erastus Wiman Wigley, Charles Wigley,Grace Ellsmore Wigley,Alan Benjamin Wigley,Louis Alexander Wigley,Norman Wigley,Donald Thistle Wigley,Kathleen Phyllis St. John Wigley,Walter Franklin Wigley
all born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania USA.
I know that Arthur Benjamin Wigley, for more than thirty years manager of the Pittsburgh office of the R. G. Dun & Company Mercantile Agency.
Many thanks
