according to the 1900 census, Swan arrived in 1887, Hannah in 1888, Effie was born in 1891, Ethel in 1896. They were in Moline, Rock Island, IL.

If I can find them in the 1900 census, I can give you an estimate, do you know your grandmother was born?

Hi Louise-
I found marriage information for Hannah Linder and Swan Peterson, they married Dec 17, 1891 in Rock Island, IL.

im new to this so not sure what to do. my grandmother was peterson. her father name was swan but i wonder if an americanized first name who was married to hannah linder. both great grandparents were from sweden. we lived in moline,illinois area where a lot of swedish people moved to.
