I've only just started on the Mayflower/Pilgrim end of my family. I probably have more than one ancestor besides John Billington and his son, Francis. so I will search on. William Witter came to these shores in 1638, declared himself a Baptist and got into trouble with the powers that be. Agitators all of them. At least I now know where my mom gets it from!

Sharon, could I ask you to repost your pilgrim heritage under the discussion thread in the discussion area? Thanks a lot.

The rectangular images I was talking about were ones I had made to use as the profile images for my ancestors on ancestry.com. But now they went to squares, and it's cutting off my images a bit at the top and bottom. I'm a perfectionist, so I'm sure I'll just HAVE to make new ones sooner or later.

Oh my Sharon that is certainly a who's who of Mayflower Passengers isn't it. My goodness! It has been my observation though that very few people only have one or two Mayflower ancestors. They are much more likely to have 4 or more. What a beautiful heritage album you could make just about that group.

Back when I was a child, one of my favorite destinations was Plymouth Plantation. I grew up 45 minutes away, and today live just an hour away. Who knew what my connection was at that time! I still enjoy the Plantation today, and always suggest it to out of town visitors, especially when I have to bring them myself!

I lied, I only have 8 direct lines, but I more than make up for that with Uncles/Aunts! Here they are:
8 G Grandfathers: Edward Doty, Myles Standish
9 G Grandmother Remember (Allerton) Maverick
9 G Grandfatherrs: Peter Brown, Francis Eaton, George Soule
10 G Grandfathers: Isaac Allerton,
10 G Grandmother: Mary (Norris) Allerton
10 G Uncles: Bartholomew Allerton, Edward, Winslow, Gilber Winslow, Edward Fuller, Samuel Fuller
10 G Aunt: Mary (Allerton) Cushman
Half 9 G Uncle: Samuel Eaton
and last but not least:
1C11R: Samuel Fuller
Whew...thanks for bringing me down Mayflower Lane!
I also have 13 non-blood related people that came over on the Mayflower, too (Thanks to my list created in Reunion) But we won’t go there...
Back to those darn cute pilgrim people...having never seen our rectangle, the square works fine :)

Oh please do add names, I'm a nut for that too, put it into the discussion thread above. And thank you for your comment about my pilgrm people. I made some little images of them to use on my ancestry pages, but I have to make new ones because they are now confining the pictures to squares and mine were rectangles. sigh! Oh well.

Everytime I turn around, I am finding another Mayflower ancestor! I am up to nine so far! I'll name names, if I must! People without this "obsession" think I am crazy!
